1. What food do you like that most people hate?
Do most people hate oysters? I also enjoy sweetbreads; that’s probably not too popular in the U.S.

2. What food do you hate that most people love?
Bananas — ugh. And egg salad. Any segregated egg format — integrated eggs, like scrambled and omelettes, are great, but I can’t abide segregated eggs. And the mere words “egg salad” make my stomach contract ominously.

3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you?
Too many to count: all those Brad Pitt-Russell Crowe-Tom Cruise-Ben Affleck-Keanu Reeves types — bleccchhh. Even worse are the iron-pumpers like Vin Diesel, the governer of California, and The Rock. Any actress with fake tits.

4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find attractive?
I’m trying to think of someone nerdly or weird enough for me to like whom most people would recognize. John Doe from X is one of those so-ugly-he’s-attractive types. Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. Stephen Malkmus of Pavement. Jonathan Richman. I think Kristin Hersh is gorgeous, but that might be a conventional opinion. Oh! I know — Ira Glass, of “This American Life.”

5. What popular trend baffles you?
Hitler-moustache pubic patches and men with shaved chests.
