Reasons why I haven’t been updating my blog:
1. Work has been been more demanding lately; the summer lull seems over and done with.
2. Been feeling generally down about numerous things — my best friend moving away, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s gubernatorial win, Elliott Smith’s suicide, my job, the current president and administration, lack of ideas for new stories.
3. Lack of updating leads to inertia — I feel like after such a long gap, I’d better write something whiz-bang wonderful. Too much pressure.
4. Less alone time now that D. and I are cohabitating. Not that he’d stop me from writing if I felt like it, but for some reason it’s harder to get in the mood to write.
