Yo Google por lo tanto estoy

(Feel free to correct me if the above Espanol is unintelligible.)

Journalspace now offers a feature I’ve been wanting for months: the ability to see referring sites, not just DNS info for people (and spiders). Somebody recently came to this thing by Googling “fallacy with fahrenheit 9/11.” I feel kind of bad for the person, as I’ve yet to see the film. (Not for lack of interest — more ‘cos I have to get in the right mood to get depressed.)

Work has done its part to curdle my mood today. The PR team has a new intern, which has noticeably ratcheted up the overall inane chatter in our pod. After about half an hour of loud conversation about what it feels like to be 9+ months pregnant > baby pools > fantasy football and other sports leagues, I snarled, “I hate to be a bitch [no, I don’t — Ed.], but could you all, just, tone it down a bit?” You coulda heard a pin drop afterward.

Otherwise, I don’t have a lot to say about anything. I watched “The Station Agent” yesterday, and while it was mildly entertaining, it wasn’t the gosh-wow film I’d been led to believe from reviews.
