Overdrawn at the karma bank

Good fortune continues:

  1. Last week, I realized I’d lost one of my gloves, but a couple of days later, when D. met Tomoko and Kevin and me for dinner at Johnny D’s, he returned it to me — he’d found it on a bush along our street.
  2. Yesterday, someone in the subway station chased me down with the same damn glove, which had fallen out of my pocket yet again.
  3. Tonight, a checker at the grocery chased me down, this time waving my wallet.
  4. I’m kind of bummed that I won’t get to see my beau this evening because I didn’t get home until just after 9 p.m. this evening — long day — and he left for rehearsal at 7:30. But before he took off, he fed my iTunes with some live recordings he’d found of the Ida show we saw a couple of weeks ago.

Speaking of the time, I need some dinner, and the cat has requested some attention, and tomorrow will be another demanding one, I reckon.

And there was the guy running out to us at the bus stop with your hat! … not that ratifying the “overdrawn” idea, mind you.
