What’s the fun of taking a sick day if you can’t even enjoy it?

Flu shot, shmu shmot. I haven’t felt this lousy in ages. My hair hurts. And I can’t stop worrying about all the things I’m not getting done at work, which are bound to ambush me when I get back.
Any recommendations for nostrums, palliatives, or theriaca (beyond rest, ibuprofin, and fluids) are most welcome.
