Inspired by Terri and sick of purple, I spent a hefty chunk of time this weekend giving the old website some spit and polish, including an upgrade to WordPress 2.0. (So far? LOVE IT. Some nice enhancements to the admin areas.) Actually, I’m hoping that people subscribing to the feed haven’t noticed any change; let me know if anything looks wonky in your newsreader and I’ll do my best to right it.
Actually, I hadn’t planned on launching the new design so soon. Some weird demon took hold of me yesterday and I couldn’t stop working on it. I even skipped lunch. I know! That just never happens.
It’s not 100% finished — I think I need Summervillain’s help installing his excellent stats package, and I need to create a new favicon. And oh yeah, I guess I should test it in a few more browsers/platforms. Heh.

Is Mr. Villain’s stats package of his own creation? I’m nonplussed with Google Analytics.
Two things: on an individual post page, there’s no way to get back to the main page. Also your “Terri” link in the post didn’t work (not that I needed to follow it, but I was going to anyway).

Thanks, Ezra! I think I fixed Terri’s link with a terminal forward slash. Hm. I also need to link the masthead (it’s driving me crazy, too — for now, there’s a “Home” link in the right nav), but would like my senior consultant around before I mess things up too much.
El Bandido del Verano’s stats package is aw-stats. He’d be better equipped to tell you about it. I also use StatCounter, which is great but only gives you information on the past 100 visits.
