Me, that’s who! Can you believe this? When I got home from the airport last night, tired, hungry, and seriously crabby, a huge package from Dana was waiting for me.
Clockwise from top left: gigundo Hefty bags for organizing projects, a set each of supercute stationery and notecards, microwaveable molten chocolate cake (mmm, molten), Interweave Knits and Knit.1, a terrific knitter’s journal so I can remember what I’ve done (and done wrong!), eight packets of Kool-Aid for dyeing purposes, an enormous Hershey bar, a huge skein of yarn on which to ply my nascent Kool-Aid dyeing techniques, and a large (and badly needed) needle case.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful surprises and emails these past few months, Dana! You certainly went above and beyond in the SP department, and I can’t wait to start experimenting with Kool-Aid dye techniques.

That’s very cool. I’m going to go get the blanket I’m (still) working on and get knitting right now!

“eight packets of Kool-Aid for dyeing purposes”: thank the goddies for that “e” - othewise I’d think your Secret Pal was the Rev. Jim Jones. Oh - and despite there being two comments above, the entry claims there ain’t none. I don’t know what the RSS feed says because I don’t have it enabled on this machine.

Jim Jones was from my mom’s (super-small) hometown, and he lived in the same dorm I did in college (years before — him and Mark Spitz too).
As for the comment count . . . yeah, I need my technical consultant to look into that when he’s not so in-demand, sick, and stressed.

Yout technical consultant is wondering if it’s a “feature” of WP 2, since his WP 2 site exhibits the same behaviour.
