I know, I know, I am t3h suck for not updating in the past thousand years. First I felt all boring and had nothing to say. Then it was my birthday and many fun times were spent with friends. Small cakes were eaten. So was brunch and a spicy Bloody Mary at The Blue Room. A very slow sail on the calm Charles followed. Work started getting under my goat and taking up a disproportionate bite out of my days. I woke up at 4:30 every day thinking of what needed to be done before we could go on vacation next week. And like that. But still: great birthday.

My sister (the one who lives in France) was saying that it’s current slang to use the article “za” to indicate that something is really cool. Like “that is *za* shirt”. Yes, that’s “Za” as in the French pronunciation of “the”.
