With apologies to Notmartha

Published on 20 January 2008

It has been such a lovely weekend so far. It seems especially luxurious after having to go to work last Saturday for the big site launch (a roaring success, hooray, and worth a bottle of Veuve Clicquot at the company meeting Friday), and getting Martin Luther King Day off tomorrow will be the icing on […]

What’s awesome

Published on 8 January 2008

Completely awesome, but only in theory, i.e, I wouldn’t want to run into them in real life:

Giant squid (good old architeuthis)
Kraken
Pirates
Ninjas
Sharks
Alligators, crocodiles, caymans
Jellyfish
Bats

Awesome in a purely stylized way:

All of the above, plus:
Birds
Vines, leaves
Fire escapes
Vampires

Awesome in an approachable way:

Dogs
Cats
Toddlers
Guitars
Cupcakes
Robots
Monkeys
Apes
Typewriters
